The final score does not reflect how hard the 8th grade team played on Thursday night. They went into half with a 16-10 lead over the Rams, but Trotwood Madisons size took over in the second half. They were able to use their height to go on a 31-1 run in the final 2 quarters of the game. The lady blazers fought until the final buzzer. They continue to get better with skills every game.
Breanna Leal led the team with 6 pts, 6 rebounds and 4 steals. Taylor Reynolds contributed 4 points, while Sammy Gardner added 5 to the team's total.
The Lady Blazers are looking to rebound next week hosting 3 home games. Monday will be a conference game against Bradford. They will play again on Thursday and Saturday.
