The Lady Blazers got off to a slow start only scoring 3 points in the first quarter, but once they got their feet under them, they went on to score 11 pts in the 2nd. 12 pts in the 3rd and 8 pts in the 4th for a total of 34 points to secure the win. They played a great defensive game holding TCN to only 11 points and coming away with 13 steals. Breanna Leal and Taylor Reynolds each having 5 and Eva Swartsell getting 3 of her own. Eva led the team with 12 total rebounds (6 on defense and 6 offensive).
Bre led the team in points with 11, Taylor fought hard underneath to add 10 pts to the score. Sammy Gardner and Eva each contributed 5 points. Two 7th graders added some points of their own with Madison Lawson scoring 2, and Kinley Marker hitting a foul shot.
Kira, Brooklyn and Audrey put up a great defensive effort to help the team. Overall, a great game on both sides of the floor by the whole team.
They will be back in action Thursday at Trotwood Madison.
