The JH football team finished their season with a 54-0 over TCN. With that win the boys finished their season with a perfect 8-0 and the WOAC championship.
Our offense played great. We had 9 different players run the ball. Josh rushed for 71 yards and a touchdown. Colt rushed for 70 yards and a touchdown. Grady Ott rushed for 44 yards and a touchdown. Gage Bush rushed for 34 yards and a touchdown. Talon rushed for 25 yards and a touchdown. He also threw for 51 yards and a touchdown. Ridge rushed for 15 yards and a touchdown. Henry rushed for 10 yards. Lane rushed for 3 yards. Grady Thomas picked up a fumble and ran 15 yards. Colton caught a 45 yard touchdown pass. Carson and Grady Thomas both caught a two point conversion. We had a total of 341 yards on offense.
We had multiple kids with several tackles. Ridge and Grady Ott led the team with 6 tackles. Talon had 5 tackles. Westin, Josh, and Carson all had 4 tackles. Our defense played well all year, only allowing 34 points.
I’m super proud of these kids. They earned this 2023 WOAC championship.
