CROSS COUNTRY AT WOAC CHAMPIONSHIPS

Cross Country at WOAC Championships
The cross country teams finished regular season with the conference meet hosted by Preble Shawnee. This wraps up the junior high season.
Ioma Alavez and Bryce Couvutsakis placed in the top 10 to receive medals. Ioma placed 4th overall with a new personal record of 13:28.34. Bryce placed 9th overall, also running a new PR of 12:42.96. Kira Rutan ran a PR of 15:17.53 placing 19th. Reggie Osborne finished his season running a 14:16.01 and placing 26th.

Tucker Denlinger missed 1st team all conference by 1 position (placing 11th) but ran a great race and PR of 18:23.05! Braydan Lee placed 18th by running a 18:57.58. The girls also missed first team all conference honors by a few places. Judith Denlinger placed 14th with a time of 23:55.48. Gretchen Murphy was right behind her in 15th running a 24:09.73. Sydney Whalen placed 17th with a 24:51.28. Ollie Mason ran a 26:54, placing 29th. Taryn Rucci wrapped up scoring in 36th place in 28:22.50. The girls placed 4th as a team behind FM, Mississinawa Valley, and Ansonia.

High Schoolers will race in Districts at Cedarville on Saturday to start the state tournament.
