The regular season did not end the way the volleyball teams wished on Thursday night. The Varsity team fought back multiple times, pushing to the deciding 5th set, dropping 13-15. Leading the way in kills and aces was Addison Sparks with 21 and 3. Haydn Davies led the team in digs with 40, combined with 2 aces. Kynzie Everman led the way with 29 assists to go along with 11 digs, 5 kills, and 2 aces of her own. Evie Hoffman was double digits in both digs (20) and kills (10), while defensively, Thelma Weldy picked up 19 digs.
The Lady Blazers start their tournament season on Tuesday night vs Southeastern. The game will be played at Arcanum with a 7:00pm start.
