It was a big night at National Trail High School for the Varsity Volleyball team. Before the match started, the 2022 Varsity team was honored for being 1 of 18 teams in the state of Ohio named an USMC/AVCA Academic All-American team. Players on that team include graduates Riley Anderson, Haley Davidson, Katelynn Neace, Natalie Osswald, and Regan Weisgerber; and current players Haydn Davies, Kynzie Everman, Miranda Ott, Addison Sparks, and Thelma Weldy.
The Blazers continued the excitement beating Dixie in 3 exciting sets to push their record to 9-8. The girls played a solid team game, led by the senior setter Kynzie Everman. She had 22 assists and 6 aces on the night. Haydn Davies and Addison Sparks led the team in digs with 27 and 26 each. Sparks added in 20 kills.
The Blazers invited everyone to their next game on October 3 for our Pink Out game versus Ansonia. First serve is at 5:30pm.
