The National Trail boys golf team continued their hot play with a 166-199 win over Bradford at Highland Lake golf course. The win takes the Blazers to 9-2 overall and 8-2 in conference play.
Junior Nick Brubaker led the Blazers with a 38. Sophomore Kellen Laird shot 40 and junior Justin Turner turned in a 41 to finish with the top 3 scores in the match. Senior Fletcher Davies followed with a 47. Junior Aidan Koehl finished with a 48 and junior Riley Littrell played through a swing change to come in with a 56.
The JV team played well tonight, being led by sophomore Sawyer Davies who shot 51, freshman Kyle Laird a 53, freshman Charlie Cummings a 55, and sophomore Jackson Skinner a 64. We’re seeing a lot of progress from the boys!
Trail finishes their regular season conference matches Thursday at Beechwood against Tri-Village.
