BOYS GOLF LOSES CLOSE MATCH TO DIXIE

Boys golf loses close match to Dixie
The National Trail boys golf team suffered their 2nd loss of the season in conference play to host Dixie at Beechwood golf course. The Greyhounds came out on top by a 172-173 margin. The win puts Dixie at 6-1 in conference and in 2nd place by themselves while the loss drops Trail to 5-2 in conference and they fall all the way to 4th place.
The Blazers were led by Nick Brubaker who was the match medalist with a 39 followed closely by junior Justin Turner who carded a 40. Sophomore Kellen Laird came in at 46 and juniors Riley Littrell and Aidan Koehl came away with matching 48s for the scorers. Senior Fletcher Davies finished with a 52 for the Blazers.
The Trail boys are right back at it Wednesday as they host Tri-County North at Highland Lake golf course.
