The National Trail boys golf team took the short trip to Eaton Country Club to take on the Twin Valley South Panthers tonight in a WOAC match. The Blazers came out on top by a 171-209 margin to improve to 4-1 in the league and 5-1 overall on the season.
Sophomore Kellen Laird led the Blazers with a 37 - good for match medalist honors. Junior Nick Brubaker came in just behind with a 39, junior Justin Turner shot a 47, and senior Fletcher Davies carded a 48 to round out the scoring. Junior Riley Littrell came in at 49 and junior Aidan Koehl rounded out the Blazers’ efforts with a 54.
The boys will be right back at it tomorrow as they host Ansonia at Highland Lake after school.
