The National Trail Junior Varsity Football team opened their season with a 14-6 home victory over Milton Union on Saturday August 19.
NT got scoring plays from Korbin Sullivan on a 28 yard TD run and Tayten Reynolds intercepted a Bulldog pass and raced 79 yards for a "pick six". Overall the team played very well for their first time as high school football players.
They will take their 1-0 record on the road when they play Preble Shawnee on Saturday September 2nd at 10:00am.
