TRAIL DOWNS ARCANUM

Trail downs Arcanum
The National Trail boys golf team hosted Arcanum at Highland Lake golf course on a wet evening and came away with a 172-175 victory.
Conditions were tough as rain and lightning forced a delay to the start of the match, then rain continued for the first half of the match. The boys navigated the tough conditions to come out on top in the WOAC matchup of a couple of the top teams. The Blazers were led by junior Justin Turner and sophomore Kellen Laird who shot matching 41s. Junior Nick Brubaker was just behind with a 42, and senior Fletcher Davies came in with a 48 to round out the scoring. Sophomore Sawyer Davies shot 49 and junior Aidan Koehl shot 52 to round out the varsity team. Arcanum was led by junior Graham Brubaker who finished as match medalist with a 36.
The Blazers are now 3-0 in WOAC play with the victory.
The boys have a break in the schedule for the next week before traveling to league favorite Newton next Thursday.
