NATIONAL TRAIL BOYS GOLF TAKES 2ND PLACE

National Trail Boys golf takes 2nd place
The National Trail boys golf team hosted the Blazer Invitational today and finished in 2nd place. The Blazer invitational is normally a very strong field with big schools and small schools represented in the 16 team field. This year was no exception, and Trail finished 2nd with a 328 total.
The Blazers were led by junior Nick Brubaker, who finished in 2nd place individually with a 75. Junior Justin Turner was next for Trail with a 9th place individual finish and an 81. Sophomore Kellen Laird was just behind with an 82 and an 11th place finish individually. Senior Fletcher Davies tied his personal best score and carded a 90 to round out the scoring for the Blazers. Junior Aidan Koehl and junior Riley Littrell tied with 94 each to round out the scoring.
Freshman Kyle Laird was able to play as an individual and shot his best 18 hole round with a 112.
The boys are back at it tomorrow with a dual match against Ft Laromie at Highland Lake.
