TREATY CITY INVITATIONAL

Labor Day weekend kicked off in Greenville at the Treaty City Invitational for the cross country teams. Our morning began with a 1hr lightening delay that opened up to a hot and humid sun- which seemed to shake up our high school runners.
Merek Mumm raced to a 52nd place finish in a 19:25.4. Bryce Couvutsakis stayed steady with a 20:39.2 placing 82nd. Preston Barnes battled some slippery mud in his 110th place finish with a 22:32.0.
Ioma Alavez lead the girls in a 24:39.5 with a 67th place finish. Maddison Loranzan finished next for the ladies in 96th with 27:22.2. Kira Rutan was close behind in 102nd and a 28:16.0. Taygen Toothman closed out the girls in 120th in a 31:13.6.
The junior high boys got some cloud coverage for a very competitive race. Zeke Klein raced his way to a medal with his 9th place finish with a new PR of 11:23.2. Wyatt Overly had a great race to receive a ribbon for his 29th place finish and new PR of 12:16.8. Landen Rogers followed the PR trend and finished the race in 92nd with a 14:04.5
