BLAZERS DEFEAT HAWKS 153-181

The National Trail boys golf team traveled to Winchester golf course to play host Mississinawa Valley and came away with a 153-181 victory.
The Blazers were led by junior Joshua Brubaker who was the match medalist with an even par round of 36. Trail had a balanced attack that included senior Charlie Cummings shooting a personal best 38, junior Wyatt Gebhart overcame a 10 on one hole to shoot 39, and junior Christian Rutan shot a 40 to round out the scoring. Freshman Gavyn Guthrie shot 48 and junior Carson Adkins carded a 65 in the non-scoring positions.
The Blazers moved their conference record to 7-2 with the win.
Next up, the Blazers travel to Stillwater Valley golf club to participate in the Versailles invite on Saturday. It’s a loaded field that will test the boys for our upcoming postseason tournaments.
