National Trail Varsity Blazers Surge Past Bradford Thanks To Big Fifth Inning
National Trail Varsity Blazers defeated Bradford 11-3 on Thursday thanks in part to six runs in the fifth inning. Clark singled, scoring one run, Coffey drew a walk, scoring one run, Cordle singled, scoring one run, and an error scored three runs.
Bradford got on the board in the top of the first inning after Gambil tripled down the right field line, and Bradford scored on a wild pitch, each scoring one run.
National Trail Varsity Blazers took the lead, 4-2, in the bottom of the third thanks to singles by Leal, Jones, and Laird.
