National Trail Varsity Blazers Defeat Trotwood-Madison Behind Strong Performance From Carson Laubenstein

Carson Laubenstein was dominant on the bump, as the pitcher rang up 10 strikeouts in National Trail Varsity Blazers's 12-0 victory over Trotwood-Madison on Saturday. Laubenstein allowed two hits and zero runs over five innings while walking two.

Grady Ott collected three hits in three at bats in the win. Ott singled in the third inning, singled in the second inning, and singled in the third inning.

National Trail Varsity Blazers got on the board in the bottom of the second inning after National Trail Varsity Blazers scored on a wild pitch, and Laubenstein singled down the left field line, each scoring one run.

Ott had the most chances in the field with six.

National Trail wraps up the first week a 4-0 record and 1-0 in WOAC play. Next up for National Trail Varsity Blazers is a game against Tri-County North on Tuesday.
