The boys opened the week with a home loss to the Blackhawks of Mississinawa 61-45 on Tuesday. In a hard fought game the Blazers struggled to knock down easy 2's and had to rely on 3-point shooting from Kaeden Culbertson, who led scoring with 21 points (5-12 from behind the arc). Contributing to scoring was Weston Lipps - 14, Alton Sparks - 4, Sam Alavez, Landon Thomas, and Grady Ott - 2 points each.
Friday night at Preble Shawnee the JVA boys got back on track with a 51-43 win! The Blazers moved the ball and executed offense to get open shots all night long. Leading all scores for the Blazers was Kaeden Culbertson - 18, Weston Lipps - 16, Grady Ott - 11, Xavier Remaklus, Alton Sparks, Dan Osswald - 2 points each.
Overall record 3-4, WOAC 2-2
The JV will not play the week of Dec. 22, due to Varsity only programs at New Miami and Fairlawn.
The JV will be in action Tuesday December 30th.
