The boys hosted Talawanda on Saturday 11-29-2025. Again, the offense started a little sluggish for the Blazers but thankfully the defense again was on point. During the first quarter NT struggled to get into any flow on offense and only managed 2 points. Tough defense in a physical matchup proved solid an only gave up 9 points to keep Trail within striking distance. At the end of the 1st NT 2 Talawanda 9. In the 2nd the Blazers came out and found some rhythm on offense and kept up the defense. NT outscored Talawanda 15-2 in the frame to take a 17-10 lead into halftime. After a back-and-forth physical 2nd half NT held on to win 41-35. The Blazers battled this weekend and came out 2-0.
Tayden Blevins finished with 13 points, 3 Rebounds and 3 Blocks, Coltin Lipps had 8 big points, Mason Cordle had 6 points and 3 assists, Kellen Laird had 6 points and 7 Rebounds as well as 6 steals, Josh Brubaker added 5 points, Talon and Jonah each added a free throw to go along with their stellar defense and Grady finished with 2 rebounds.
