The MS volleyball team played their 6th match in 8 days against Preble Shawnee with the 7th losing in 3 tough games and the 8th grade coming out on top in 2 sets.
Both teams showed so much improvement over Saturday’s games. The 7th grade team was led at the net by Jessa Barnes with 4 kills and Bentleigh Buckley with 3 kills. From the service line, Miranda Derringer led the team with 6 points and 2 aces, while Jessa added 5 points and 2 aces. Miah Baldwin, Haven Ruebush, and Adalee Rogers each served 4 points, while Bentleigh Buckley chipped in 3 points.
In the 8th grade match, Millie Brinkley was on fire! She led the team with 15 service points, 4 aces, and 3 kills. Leiloni Davis added 9 points, 4 aces, and 4 kills of her own.
The Lady Blazers are back in action again Thursday, as they host TVS.
