National Trail Football recorded its first win of the season Friday winning in dominating fashion with a final score of 51-22 for their homecoming matchup of 2025. 
Many contributors led the Blazers offensively. 
Aiden Martin Led the Blazers with passing yards and touchdowns . Martin went 8 for 10 passing for 149 yards and a Passing TD to Grady Ott. Martin also ran the ball in for two more TDs totaling 67 yards on the ground. Talon Bousman also contributed to the passing game with a 60 yard strike to Grady Ott. 
 In the run game Talon Bousman led the way with yardage racking up 118 yards on 5 carries and 2 rushing TDs. Jody Wintrow added 101 yards on 9 carries. Jonah Brinkley added 2 rushes for 91 yards and a TD. Jason Lofton rushed for 39 yards on 5 carries, Christian Miears had 5 yards on 2 carries.
 Grady Ott  had 2 rushes for 26 yards averaging 13 yards per carry but really stole the show in the receiving game with 3 receptions for 145 yards and 2 TDS.  Brinkley, Bousman, Clark, and Wintrow also all recorded receptions totaling 64 more yards. 
Int total the Blazers amassed 656 total yards of offense, 447 yards rushing and 209 yards passing. 
Jacob Farno added a 23 yard Field Goal Later in the game to finish off the scoring and bring the total to 51. 
Defensively Christian Miears  and Grady Ott led the way with tackles with 8 tackles each. Lofton had 6, Evan Gierzak had 5, Martin 4, Roberts 3, Miracle 3, Wills 2, Marker 2, Bousman 2, and Finishing off with 1 tackle each were Davis, Merritt, Vernon, and Wintrow. Jonah Brinkley had  a Tackle for loss and a sack. Henry Roberts forced a fumble and Evan Gierzak recovered it. Grady Ott  also added to his banner night with an interception. 
Trail football will strive to keep its momentum going as they travel to Arcanum next week for a much anticipated matchup with the 4-1 Trojans.
