The Middle School Volleyball teams traveled to Mississinawa Valley Thursday night for their 3rd match of the week.
The 7th graders continued their winning ways, winning in straight sets. At the net Bentleigh Buckley led the team with 3 kills while Haven Ruebush added 2. From the service line, Jessa Barnes led the way with 11 points and 6 aces. Haven Ruebush added 6 points and 6 aces, while Miranda Derringer and Adalee Roger’s each served 4 points. Miah Baldwin added 2 aces of her own.
In the 8th grade game, the Blazers just could not keep up with the consistency of the Blackhawks. The scores did not show the amount of well fought rallies burning the game. The team was led by Eli Wolfe-Swartsell with 4 kills and Mya Martin with 3 points and 2 aces.
The teams round out their busy homecoming week on Saturday, traveling to Talawanda for a Quad match.
