The Blazers competed at Fort St Clair for the Eaton Invitational. Some runners struggled on the course and others improved their season bests!
Tucker Denlinger placed 4th to earn a medal finishing in 17:28.2. Bryce Couvutsakis ran a new season best of 19:39.2. Preston Barnes finished in 20:24.7. Merek Mumm was just shy of a PR, finishing in 21:53.5.
Sydney Whalen placed 20th to earn a medal. She finished the race with a new PR 22:23.7. Kira Rutan ran a PR of 23:19.0. Ioma Alavez finished in 24:32.9. Ruby Sink was nearby finishing in 24:58.9. Taygen Toothman rounded out the team with a 29:52.7.
Levi Saylor was the only junior high boy to post a PR today, finishing the race in 18:04.0. Finishing first for the boys was Wyatt Overley in 13:07.8- only a second off from his best. Emmett Jacob finished in 15:56.1
Maddison Loranzan and Dalila Alavez recorded new PRs/season bests. Maddison finished in 16:42.8 and Dalila in 17:40.1. Dalila cut about 50 seconds from her previous best. Myka Smith finished the course in 24:24.0.
