The National Trail boys golf team hosted Arcanum in a matchup of conference unbeaten teams and came out on top 158-182.
The Blazers were led by senior Kellen Laird who fired an even par 36 on the back nine at Highland Lake golf course. Sophomore Josh Brubaker followed with a 38, and the sophomore pair of Wyatt Gebhart and Christian Rutan rounded out the scoring with matching 42s. These were the low four players in the entire match - a great time to come out with great play against a previously undefeated team! Senior Sawyer Davies shot 46 and junior Charlie Cummings shot a 47 for the non-scoring varsity spots.
The JV team again took the course and came in with a 241 team score. Senior Aiden Rader led the group firing a 49, while senior Jackson Skinner was next with a 59, sophomore Carson Adkins came in at 62, and senior Braydan Lee rounded out the scoring with a 71.
The boys return to action Monday when they host Bradford at Highland Lake golf course.
