The National Trail boys golf team traveled to Stillwater golf club to take part in the Versailles invitational and won a close battle with Minster 336-337! This was a big win for the boys because the field has many of the top teams from the southwest district.
Sophomore Josh Brubaker finished third overall and low for Trail with an 80, senior Kellen Laird finished T-4 with an 81, senior Sawyer Davies shot 86, and sophomore Christian Rutan rounded out the scoring with an 89. Junior Charlie Cummings and sophomore Wyatt Gebhart came in with 92 and 94 respectively in the non-scoring spots.
The Blazers return to action after Labor Day to host Ansonia on Tuesday in a WOAC match.
