Trail fell short on Thursday afternoon against TVS in a close match that ultimately ended in a 2-1 loss.
South took an early lead midway through the first half to put the pressure on the Lady Blazers. Prior to half time scoring was led by Kenady Thompson, assist by Katelyn Kirby, to even the score prior to half time. The Blazers came out of half time fired up and worked the ball better than they had in previous contest. With 20 minutes left in the game South had found the back of the net off a 50/50 ball in the Blazers defensive half. Trail came close near the end of the game, but it wasn't enough to tie it up.
The Lady Blazers have a long break before their next match at Home against Dixie 9/4 with kickoff set for 5:30pm.
