Trail in the first away game of the season traveled to Newton under the lights. The Blazers drew first blood midway through the first half with a strong cross from Lillian Cordle over to Kenady Thompson for a well-deserved goal. Newton was quick to react and managed to put three unanswered goals through the Blazer defense. After a half time score of 3-1, the Blazers were out matched with another two goals from Newton securing their 5-1 victory over National Trail.
Blazers return to action 5:30pm Thursday where they will compete against T.V. South.
