VARSITY FOOTBALL - CARLISLE

The Blazers opened their 2025 regular season, traveling to Carlisle for a non- conference matchup. The Blazers were outpaced from the beginning losing by a final score of 42-6. Leading the way through the air for the blazers was Aiden Martin with 7 completions for 126 yards, his leading receiver, Jonah Brinkley hauling in 4 receptions for 123 yards. Talon Bousman also had some solid completions for 62 yards and Kaili Merritt added 47 yards of receiving. On the ground the Blazers gained 73 yards and a rushing TD by Jonah Brinkley. Defensively Jonah and Matthew Jones teamed up for a sack, Talon Bousman, Aiden Martin, and Jonah Brinkley all led the team in tackles with 6 each. Grady Ott created a big turnover with an interception and also had 5 tackles. The Blazers look to improve hosting conference foe Tri-Village for week 2.
