BLAZER CONTINUE HOT START AGAINST NORTH

The National Trail boys golf team continued their hot start to the conference season with a 158-179 victory over Tri-County North.
The Blazers were led by sophomore Christian Rutan, who made his last shot of the match from 200 yards out to make eagle and shoot 36. Senior Kellen Laird was just behind with a 37, senior Sawyer Davies came in with 41, and sophomore Wyatt Gebhart rounded out the scoring with a 44. Josh Brubaker and Charlie Cummings filled out the non-scoring spots with a 45 and 53 respectively.
The win moves Trail to 4-0 in WOAC play on the season.
The JV team was able to get out for the first time this season and had four guys play. Senior Aiden Rader led the group with a 51, senior Jackson (J-Skinny) Skinner followed with 52, senior Braydan (B-Lee) Lee came in at 69, and sophomore Carson Adkins rounded out the team scoring with a 70.
The team returns to action Monday when they travel to Echo Hills to take on Newton.
