BOYS GOLF COMPETES IN MOELLER’S INVITATIONAL

The National Trail boys golf team traveled to Walden Ponds golf club and took part in the Moeller Crusader Invitational and unfortunately finished 22nd out of 22 teams. The boys started strong on the front nine shooting a 161, but had a rough finish on the back to finish at 345 and fall from 17th to 22.
The Blazers were led by sophomore Josh Brubaker who shot 80. Senior Kellen Laird followed closely and finished with an 81. Sophomore Christian Rutan carded a 91, and sophomore Wyatt Gebhart a 93 to round out the scoring. Senior Sawyer Davies competed in the non-scoring spot today.
The boys get right back at it Monday when they host Preble Shawnee in a conference match.
