TRAIL GOLF SETS NEW SCHOOL RECORD IN WIN

The National Trail boys golf team traveled to Beechwood golf course to take on Tri-Village and Franklin-Monroe in a tri-match and left setting a new school record!
The previous 9-hole team score record of 148 was set by the 2002 team, and today the team shot 145, which is 1 over par.
The Blazers were again led by the duo of sophomore Josh Brubaker and senior Kellen Laird who shot 35 each. Sophomore Wyatt Gebhart set a personal best 37, and senior Sawyer Davies shot his personal best 38 to round out the scoring. Sophomore Christian Rutan came in with a 46 and junior Charlie Cummings a 47 in the non-scoring spots.
The Blazers return to action tomorrow to see if their hot play can continue when they take part in the Moeller Invitational at Walden Ponds golf course in Hamilton.
