BOYS GOLF FINISH 2ND AT BLAZER INVITE

The National Trail boys golf team hosted the Blazer Invite at Highland Lake golf course and finished in 2nd place. Roger Bacon high school shot a 307 to win the team title, finishing seven shots ahead of Trail.
The Blazers were led by the duo of sophomore Josh Brubaker and senior Kellen Laird, who again tied with matching 74s. That score was good enough for a tie for 3rd place overall. Sophomore Wyatt Gebhart and senior Sawyer Davies rounded out the scoring with matching 83s, while sophomore Christian Rutan (84), junior Charlie Cummings (99), senior Aiden Rader (100), and senior Jackson Skinner (119) were the non-scoring spots. Having an 84 not score was the lowest 5th score in at least eight years for Trail, but probably longer.
The Blazers finally get a little bit of a break from action, as they will next tee it up at Virtues Golf Club in the Newark Catholic invitational on Tuesday.
