The National Trail boys golf team traveled to Minster, Ohio and Arrowhead Golf Club to take part in the Ft Loramie invitational today. The boys shot a team score of 331 to end the day tied for 5th place overall.
The excitement of the day was tracking Senior Kellen Laird and sophomore Josh Brubaker battle it out throughout the day for the tournament individual title. Kellen won this time with an even par 72 while Josh came in one stroke back at 73. It was a day full of incredible play from the two of them! The rest of the team ended up with sophomore Christian Rutan carding a 90, sophomore Wyatt Gebhart fired a 96, Junior Charlie Cummings shot his personal best with a 96, and Sawyer Davies rounded out the team with a 97.
The rest of the week the Blazers will host the Preble County Championship Thursday and the Blazer Invite Friday.
