BOYS GOLF STARTS SEASON STRONG

The Boys Golf team traveled to Turtle Creek golf course today to take part in the Greenville Invitational. This was the first tournament of the year for the boys, who are looking to follow-up last year’s state tournament representative team.
Sophomore Josh Brubaker started the year strong by shooting a 75 - good for 5th place overall. Sophomore Wyatt Gebhart fired an 81, senior Kellen Laird followed with an 82, and sophomore Christian Rutan rounded out the scoring with an 88. Senior Sawyer Davies and Junior Charlie Cummings carded a 90 and 106 respectively (including his first-ever birdie on the 7th hole!).
The boys will be right back at it Friday morning when they travel to Hueston Woods to play in the Talawanda Invitational. This is the start of a busy couple weeks for the boys. They will play in nine tournaments before school starts!
